Baidyanath Dham, Deoghar
Considered as the oldest temple in Jharkhand, Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar hosts 12 Jyotirlingas (holiest Shiva shrines) in India, making it a must-visit for every devotee. The intricate stone and copper architecture of the main temple, along with the 22 smaller temples within the complex, creates a mesmerising visual story. Legend says that here, Ravana seeks Shiva's boon to take the "Kamna Linga" to Lanka, but Shiva warns it can't be moved once placed. Vishnu intervenes, tricking Ravana into delaying his journey, leading to the creation of Baidyanath Temple where the Linga now resides. Millions of devotees flock here annually, especially during Shravan, a holy Hindu month, to offer prayers and seek blessings.
Rajrappa Temple: A Sacred Confluence of Faith and Nature
Among the most spiritually significant famous temples in Jharkhand, Rajrappa Temple stands out for both its religious importance and its striking natural setting. Located in Ramgarh district, the temple is dedicated to Maa Chhinnamastika, a powerful form of Goddess Durga and one of the ten Mahavidyas.

Jagannath Temple, Ranchi
Built in the 17th century, the Jagannath Temple in Ranchi is a replica of the iconic Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha. Pahari Mandir, Ranchi
